Here We Go!!

I am about to begin my latest blog. I was working on one before and I feel like it is time to put that one away and start anew. It's been a long time so I will have to work out the kinks.
I think I will start today with my first entry. Today I will go to the Jefferson County Retirement dinner. I feel a little strange because this is not the way I planned my career to end. I have actually not worked for over a year. I took my sick days and then retired in October. I miss the kids and have been in somewhat of a limbo state since that time. I need to get out more but have kind of attached myself to the house. I never thought I would do that. I guess it has to do with most of my friends working during the day and not having a lot to do. Even my friends who do not work outside of the home already have their schedules.
